NFL-Jerseys Reports — In the Los Angeles Rams season opener Monday night race against San Francisco 49ers, we are ready to see Case Keenum to face Blaine Gabbert.
If the top pick Jared Goff has any possibility to over Keenum, becoming the starting quarterback in the first week, then his preseason performance had almost lost it.
In Goff’s opening attack, he completed 30 yards passing touchdowns with the inspiring performance before his plummeted. Then he failed all the five tentative passing that to complete third gear conversion. After the attack in the opening 4 passes completed three times to obtain 53 yards, he only completed three times to obtain 14 yards in next 12 passes.
Coach Jeff Fisher admitted after the game that Sean Mannion would serve as Keenum’s bench at the start of the season, and Goff would be the No.3 quarterback.
“I want to spend some time,” Fisher said. “Does not mean he can not be the No.2 or starting quarterback, but if we now start the season, I may make Sean served as the No.2 quarterback. Because the most important thing is to be patient with him.”
Although it’s too early to be pessimistic about Goff’s career prospects, the Rams fans will feel disappointed about the rookie start his season as a substitute rather than a hope.
